What a wonderful quote!! So true. we usually dont take time to stop and smell the roses!

Right?! And yet we think nothing of complaining or moping when things aren’t necessarily “coming up roses.” And oddly enough, when we start to take notice of our happiness, our happiness grows even more and can make the sad times feel not quite as sad.
Appreciate your visit, thanks! -christy

How awesome to see this in print. My kiddos make fun of me because I’ll often say, “WOW! Look at how good we have it. This is just the best!”
I LOVE those moments. Thanks for a gentle reminder. xo

You’re too cool Michelle, your kids are so lucky to have you for a momma.
Even just a glass of cold clean drinking water is such a luxury … most of the world isn’t even that fortunate. xo

Last evening I saw a notebook named ” Things that made me happy today” while browsing at Target, and almost planned to buy it. I should have. Just realized now, after reading this wonderful quote. Thank you for sharing, Christy. 🙂

Synchronicity in action, I love it.
No reason why you couldn’t make your own Happiness Journal, Archita. Any notepad will suffice, and will probably be much less expensive than the Target notebook. 🙂
At night before I go to sleep, I try to thank the Universe for three things. It keeps gratitude alive in my heart. Love to you!

You’re right, Christy. I can even create a doodle and use all my calligraphy skills on the cover of that notebook, it will look happier and more personal. Thank you so much, ❤ ❤ I don't write journals anymore, I want to start again. Time is not a friend anymore. But I can't lose hope.

Time is always your friend. 😉 Just like all of our friends though, we sometimes take it for granted until we no longer have it. Keep your notebook by your bed and jot just one thing a day, even a single word. You will cherish it for years to come.
