Hi – I am sorry about your loss – — (sending a hug) –
and thanks for the reply – I do have one other question though – was wondering how you personally pronounce the Ides in the Ides of march. My husband and I debated this once….
is it “eyeds” or “eye- dees -” or do you think it does not matter…..?

Ides is pronounced with a hard I like your “eyeds” or eyedz. But the Latin word from which ides is derived is idus. Ides of March = Idus Martias.
Thank you for the hug!
